The BBC has consistently been one of the leaders in the digital marketplace, breaking new ground on bothBBC's behind on the wall, but in front on the web mobile, digital TV and online platforms.

Now, in redesigning the BBC website, its put its weight behind the Web 2.0 [define] movement. With the launch of Reboot – which encourages people to submit designs that “re-imagine the bbc.co.uk home page in the Web 2.0 world” – the BBC has not only admitted that this trend is the future of online, its also using some 2.0 principles: namely, consumer input.

We’re big believers that Web 2.0 is more than just a buzzword (and we’ve published a short guide to it here) and the BBC’s focus on it is proof that its here to stay & develop further.  So, if your website is still based on the old theories of the web, your consumers will soon start demanding much, much more. Best give us a call ;-).
